Registration for the 2006 SWI is closed. The early bird registration fee for the Southwest Writers Institute is $100. After October 1, 2006, the registration fee is $130. Only those registered by October 1 will be eligible to participate in the Cutthroat Publication Contest. Please make checks payable to Fort Lewis College. Thanks to generous support from the Fort Lewis College Foundation and from the Colorado Council on the Arts, a limited number of scholarships are available to FLC Alumni and area residents. Registration closes November 6, 2006. The registration fee includes participation in two different craft sessions (of the participant's choosing) and the Panels on Saturday, as well as admission to the Institute's Receptions and Readings on Friday and Saturday night. Participants who register by October 1 are eligible for the Cutthroat's publication contest.
